Why this, why now?
Most of us carry a quiet suspicion that something inside isn't quite right — impulses that don't make sense, conflicts that won't resolve, moments of clarity that vanish without warning.
The ancient thinkers created maps, but they contain gods and stories we can't believe in anymore. Modern science dissected the brain and classified our problems — but doesn't explain what it's like to be you.
Subjectiv is an attempt to triangulate something new: a model of mind that's true to lived experience, stands up to scientific scrutiny, and recovers what the old traditions were pointing at — without the cargo-cult stories.
Not self-help. Not neuroscience journalism. A working framework for understanding what's going on inside.
About Me
I've spent more than twenty years building things out in the world. The first decade was in consulting—working with large-scale change in big companies. The second decade was in product design—co-founding two fintech unicorns and building new ventures around the world.
Success in both came from the same thing: understanding how people actually experience their lives, not how they say they do. After enough projects, I stopped seeing individual problems and started to see the same underlying architecture everywhere.
Exploring that architecture is what this project is all about.
